Resharpening Service for High Speed or Carbide end mills
Turnaround time 2- 4 weeks. When
cutting tools, end mills, tapered end mills, or carbide end mills are
resharpened, there is necessarily a loss of material. We
take off as little as possible and still produce a good edge. Routinely, we
sharpen flutes and tips, hold the original taper tolerance and
disregard tip diameters and flute lengths. If other tolerances
are critical, you must Conical Tool can resharpen any tooling that we manufacture. The main advantage to us doing the regrinding is the amount of experience we have. Many of our employees have 20-30 years in the resharpening and regrind area, and are some of the best around. Many companies don't like to resharpen end mills, but at Conical, we like the challenge of getting the end mills to last as long as they possibly can. The savings alone make it worth trying. Call either Dave Melinn or Blake Melinn about your regrinds, and you will be surprised at how much savings you will receive. |
